Once you have purchased your full lace wigs or lace front wigs, people often buy the adhesive and forget to purchase a solution to remove it. Removing your lace wig can be tedious if you do not know what you are doing or how to do it. One needs to be careful while removing because you do not want to ruin your unit and you want to extend the life of your lace wigs.

Before we start, you may want to pull your hair back into a pony tail style to better remove your wig and access without getting extra hair caught in the process. Here are a few suggestions of what you can purchase to remove your wig.

Firstly, with any of these removers, once you apply, you must wait a certain amount of time for the solution to penetrate before you can begin lifting and slowly removing. Be careful not to put to much remover and avoid getting it in your eyes. All of these adhesive removers can be found online at either wig vendors websites or sites such as eBay.

Secondly, if you cannot get your hands on any of these removers, no need to worry, you can go to any pharmacy and purchase 91 or more percent Isopropyl alcohol which is a great remover and works on any adhesive, it is a bit strong, but it gets the job done. Baby oil is also known to help as a remover if you do not have anything else on hand although the process may take a bit longer and can be a little messy than other solutions.

These removers are also great to get rid of the residue from wig adhesives which will most likely be on the edges of your wig. If you still find it hard to completely remove even just a little bit of the adhesive, take a small mirror and rub it on to the edges of the wig where the glue or tape has become sticky on our wig until completely off. Finally you can wash your wig and remember to always place your wig on a wig stand when not in use to retain its shape.

Lace wigs come in full lace and lace front. Lace wigs for black women can cost anywhere from $199.00 to several thousand dollars. But with proper wig hair care, a lace wig can last for several years. You are more likely to get a better deal on wigs online. They need special lace wigs application to get them to real hair wigs. Along with your wig, you will need to order special lace adhesive.

To wear the wig you need to apply the hair adhesive along the hairline where the lace will stick. This may be around the front of the wig for a lace front, or all always around the hairline. After trimming the lace to a reasonable length, the wearer will then press the lace to the skin after fitting the wig snugly on the head. The lace of the wig should blend with the skin. To further disguise the lace portion of the wig, the user will smooth their baby hair, or the baby hair attached to the wig into the adhesive to create a smooth realistic look.

A person who is bald or has significant hair loss can wear the wig longer than someone with a full head of hair can. You can easily find perfect lace wig demonstrations on internet sites such as Rpgshow.com.
