How long can I expect the wig to last?
The life of your wig will depend on your use and care of it. If handled properly, it should last you 6 months to a year and even longer depending on your handling and use.
Hair care tips
Washing:
Use a wig shampoo specifically designed for human hair wigs.
Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add the shampoo. Gently swish the wig in the water and let it soak for a few minutes.
Rinse the wig with cold water until all the shampoo is removed.
Conditioning:
Use a wig conditioner to keep the hair soft and manageable.
Apply the conditioner to the wig, avoiding the roots.
Put it in a bag or Wig Travel Case for half an hour to allow the hair to fully absorb nutrients.
Rinse the wig thoroughly with cold water.
Drying:
Gently blot the wig with a towel to remove excess water.
Place the wig on a wig stand or a towel to air dry.
Styling:
Use a wig brush or comb to style the wig. Start from the ends and work your way up to prevent tangling.
Storage:
Store the wig on a wig stand or in a breathable bag away from direct sunlight, heat, and dust.
Keep the wig away from children and pets to prevent damage.
Avoiding Friction:
Be gentle when handling the wig to prevent tangling and shedding.
Avoid rubbing the wig against rough surfaces.
Regular Maintenance:
Wash the wig every 6-8 wears or as needed, depending on how often you wear it.
Trim the ends of the wig if necessary to maintain its shape.
